Dear members of Oceanfront Plaza CAI,
OFPC was summoned to appear before the Magistrate to discuss Violation US2021-03651on March 23, 2023. The meeting was conducted at 11 AM via Zoom before Special Magistrate of the City of Miami Beach, Honorable Enrique Zamora. The City of Miami Beach Chief Inspector Ibrahim Alvarez attended as well as Al Marrero from AG Contractors. For OFPC participated Lina Blanco (our Treasurer) and I. Also, residents Diaz Lay, Gabriel Cano and someone with initial ALS attended as spectators.
During the meeting it became clear that there was a mix-up with the reports received from the engineer and the permits opened without linking them to this violation. So it was established that, rather than failing to correct the violations cited on 7/1/2021 within specified time frame, we have been diligently working in the property and giving updates to CMB. Bottom line is that they have sufficient information and backup documentation to sustain that the violation is under correction repairs (both of our existing violations.)
Al Marrero is now communicating directly with inspector Alvarez to insure all the reports required by the city are received in a timely manner without any further mix-ups. By May 25, 2023, the City will have all the documentation required in relation to correct Violation US2021-03651 to their satisfaction.

La Asociación fue citada a comparecer ante el Magistrado para discutir la Violación US2021-03651 el 23 de marzo de 2023. La reunión se realizó a las 11 AM vía Zoom ante el Magistrado Especial de la Ciudad de Miami Beach, Honorable Enrique Zamora. Asistieron el Inspector-Jefe de la Ciudad de Miami Beach, Ibrahim Álvarez, así como Al Marrero de AG Contractors. Por OFPC participamos Lina Blanco (nuestra Tesorera) y yo. También asistieron como espectadores los residentes Díaz Lay, Gabriel Cano y alguien las iniciales ELS.
Durante la reunión quedó claro que hubo una confusión con los informes recibidos del ingeniero y los permisos abiertos sin vincularlos a esta violación. Por lo tanto, se estableció que, en lugar de no corregir las violaciones citadas el 1/7/2021 dentro del plazo especificado, hemos estado trabajando diligentemente en la propiedad y brindando actualizaciones a CMB. La conclusión es que tienen suficiente información y documentación de respaldo para sostener que la violación se está corrigiendo (nuestras dos violaciones existentes).
Al Marrero ahora se está comunicando directamente con el inspector Álvarez para asegurar que todos los informes requeridos por la ciudad se reciban de manera oportuna y sin más confusiones. Para el 25 de mayo de 2023, la Ciudad tendrá toda la documentación correcta requerida en relación con la Infracción US2021-03651 para su completa satisfacción.
